Who runs this site?

HookCompass is run by GC Labs Private Limited, India (founder: Kamal Sethi). This policy covers hookcompass.com and the waitlist on it. You can reach us at [email protected].

What do we collect?

When you join the waitlist, we store:

  • your email address
  • the choices you tick under “What do you make?”, which are YouTube Shorts, YouTube long-form and Instagram Reels. This part is optional.
  • the page you joined from, as a short label such as home or pricing
  • the country Cloudflare reports for your visit
  • the time you signed up
  • a row number that the database adds to each sign-up

We do not store your IP address.

Why do we collect it?

To send you early-access news about HookCompass. That is the only use.

Where is it kept?

In a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare also runs two services on this site:

  • Turnstile checks the waitlist form for spam. It receives your IP address to run that check.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits. It does not use cookies.

Do you use cookies or trackers?

We use no tracking cookies and no advertising trackers. We never sell your data.

How long do we keep it?

Until you ask us to remove you, or until HookCompass stops sending early-access emails. After that we delete it.

What are your rights?

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will act on it. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR or the UK GDPR, or under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We honour these requests either way.

What about children?

The waitlist is not for anyone under 13. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you join, where the law requires it.

What if this policy changes?

If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
